Patchology foot exfoliation kit is the one thing your feet need

Squeamish people look away; this review is filled with gross feet talk.

Before I start, I have to warn you that if you are squeamish about feet, this is not the article for you. Click away and have a look at our wellness gift guide or some lovely Italian masserias. This review is all about feet at their gross-est state.

I am not particularly fond of people touching my feet, so I am quite happy anytime I find a product that can reproduce the effect of a nice pedicure in some ways. Of course, nothing can compare to an actual trained human pampering your feet, but some things can be done at home that will make your mittens a bit more presentable.

What I particularly like are those feet exfoliating masks that you keep on your feet for an hour and then proceed to literally peel off the superficial layer of skin, leaving you with a much better-looking pair of feet (sorry, I told you this was going to be graphic). The only problem with this kind of product is that most of the time they don’t work, at all.

The last time I found a foot exfoliating mask that worked well was four years ago – yes, I have been searching ever since – in a Monoprix supermarket in Paris. I could never find another product that worked as well as that one and I was so obsessed. I think all my friends know about this by now.

This obsession continued until November 2020, when Patchology’s Mistle Toes came into my life, I know it might sound dramatic, but you need to consider the amount of research I have done to find something that actually worked and what joy this brings into my life before you judge me.

The kit by Patchology works like any other exfoliating kit, you wear the socks for an hour, you wash the product away, and you wait. For a week, my feet looked so gross I couldn’t bring myself to add a picture to this article. But after a week, as promised, my feet looked brand new. The skin of my feet is 100% smoother, more than it would have been after a few professional pedicures. Minimum hassle and maximum results – this new kit is a super easy step to add to your self-care routine (once every few months).
