A report from The Office for National Statistics stated that retail sales volumes have continued to rise throughout the lockdown period in the UK, growing by 0.8% between July and August; household goods and DIY, in particular, saw a 9.9% jump in sales.
It’s understandable that, after being stuck inside for months, people want to make their homes as comfortable as they can be, especially with a possible second wave and new lockdown in sight.
