Buly’s scented stickers for masks are about to rock your world

Say goodbye to stale air and smelly masks, Buly is coming to the rescue with their new scented stickers.

Lockdowns might be starting to ease, but it will be a long time before we can completely forget about wearing masks wherever we go.

The surgical mask – the fashion accessory that nobody asked for – has become both our best friend and our worst enemy. We hate them but can’t live without them (yet).

To make the hours spent behind a mask a bit more bearable – especially with the warm days approaching – the iconic French brand Buly has created an easy and incredibly effective solution: their new scented stickers for masks.

If a year ago this would have seemed a frivolous accessory, after a year of constant mask-wearing it feels like a breath of fresh air (pun not intended).

The small round stickers come in a sealed bag that helps preserve the fragrance once opened. One pouch includes eight patches to be used only once for no longer than six hours, depending on the type of mask. The patches stick to any mask and can be easily removed from reusable face covers.

When I first saw the stickers, I thought the idea was genius. Like most people, I hate having to wear a mask even when I go outside in the open. During the third lockdown, I hated it so much that I started going out less and less. I realise this might sound overly dramatic, but those little stickers made a world of difference for me.

The scent of eucalyptus, peppermint and lemon lasts for hours without being overpowering and it makes the air inside the mask feel fresher and less stale. A small thing at a low price that can upgrade your daily life – it seems like such a no brainer that I can’t believe no other brand is following Buly’s lead.

As far as I am concerned, I will be repurchasing again and again – until we can finally drop the mask!
