Nespresso shares their new summer recipes to achieve the best iced coffee.
One of the pleasures of summer: sipping a delicious iced coffee while relaxing in the sun. To spice up the classic ice-coffee-milk recipe, we asked the coffee masters at Nespresso to share some of their best iced coffee recipes with us.
Freddo Intenso Tiki Sparkle
Ingredients:
- 40ml Barista Creations Freddo Intenso espresso
- 5 x ice cubes (each ice cube = 30g)
- 10ml Tiki syrup
- 1 x fresh lime slice
- 4-5 basil leaves
- 90ml ginger beer soda OR lemon soda
- Garnish with 1 x fresh ginger slice; lime peel and 1 x basil leaf
Method:
- Place 1 ice cube into a shaker.
- Extract 40 ml of Barista Creations Freddo Intenso espresso over the ice.
- Stir and then seal before shaking vigorously.
- Place 4 ice cubes into your View recipe glass.
- Add 10ml of Tiki Syrup and squeeze in the juice of 1 fresh lime slice.
- Slap 4-5 basil leaves in your hand and add them to the glass.
- Pour in 90 ml of ginger beer soda or lemon soda.
- Pour in the cold coffee.
- Garnish with fresh ginger slices, lime peel, and a basil leaf.
Provençal Freddo Delicato Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 40 ml of Barista Creations Freddo Delicato espresso
- 1 tsp of fresh or dried lavender
- 5 x ice cubes (each ice cube = 30g)
- 1 x slice of lemon
- 15 ml of Vanilla Syrup
- 10 ml of fresh lemon juice
- 100 ml of sparkling water
- Garnish with a fresh sprig of lavender
Method:
- Extract 40 ml of Barista Creations Freddo Delicato espresso over 1 tsp of fresh or dried lavender.
- Let it infuse for 2 minutes before straining it into a shaker and adding 1 ice cube (30 g).
- Seal the shaker and shake vigorously.
- Add 4 ice cubes (30 g each) and a slice of lemon into your View recipe glass.
- Pour in 15 ml of Vanilla Syrup and 10 ml of fresh lemon juice.
- Pour in 100 ml of sparkling water and stir gently.
- Pour in the cold coffee.
- Garnish with a fresh sprig of lavender.
Orange Saffron Ice Leggero Late
Ingredients:
- 4 x ice cubes (each ice cube = 30g)
- 10ml saffron syrup
- A fresh orange pee
- 120ml of 1.5% milk
- 80 ml of Barista Creations Ice Leggero
- Garnish with a fresh orange peel
Method:
- Place 4 ice cubes (30 g each) into your Vertuo Coffee Mug.
- Add 10 ml saffron syrup, a fresh orange peel, and 120 ml of 1.5% milk.
- Extract 80 ml of Barista Creations Ice Leggero into the Mug.
- Garnish with a fresh orange peel.
Vanilla Almond Ice Forte
Ingredients:
- 8 ice cubes (each ice cube = 30g)
- 20 ml Vanilla Syrup
- 70 ml of Almond Milk
- 230 ml of Barista Creations Ice Forte
Method:
- Place 8 ice cubes (30 g each) into your Alto Mug.
- Pour 20 ml Vanilla Syrup and 70 ml of Almond Milk over the ice. Stir well.
- Extract 230 ml of Barista Creations Ice Forte over it.
Exotic Tropical Coconut Flavour Macchiato
Ingredients:
- 100 ml of 1.5% milk
- 3 x ice cubes (each ice cube = 30g)
- 10 ml of Saffron Syrup
- 1 x lime peel
- 40 ml of Barista Creations Coconut Flavour Over Ice espresso
- Garnish with desiccated coconut.
Method:
- Pour 100 ml of 1.5% milk into a shaker. Seal it and shake it vigorously.
- Place 3 ice cubes (30 g each) into your View recipe glass and add 10 ml of Saffron Syrup and a lime peel.
- Pour the cold milk foam into the glass and mix.
- Extract 40 ml of Barista Creations Coconut Flavour Over Ice espresso into the glass.
- Garnish with desiccated coconut.
Tropical Coconut Flavour Over Ice Mocktail
Ingredients:
- 7 x ice cubes (each ice cube = 30g)
- 20 ml of Tiki Syrup
- 70 ml of sparkling water
- 230 ml of Barista Creations Tropical Coconut.
Method:
- Place 7 ice cubes (30 g each) into your Alto Mug.
- Pour in 20 ml of Tiki Syrup and 70 ml of sparkling water. Stir well.
- Extract 230 ml of Barista Creations Tropical Coconut over Ice into your Mug.
